really cant fail another pap
Ok, this is sick. I didn't really do well in the Philosophy test and the material has gotten sooo confusing of late that I need to see Connie tomorrow. I have to pass this paper, even with a C-.
You Are 20% Scary
You're so perfect that it actually is a little scary.
Men keep waiting for your dark side to appear, but it just doesn't exist!
Last year I could've been 80% scary. I've learned a lot. My girlfriends can eventually be proud of me.Listening to: Mustafa Sandal - Kalmadi Tuesday, January 23, 2007, 01:40 p.m. |
a sweet guy, a rude guy, and a kid piano phenomenon
Oh-kay...where do I begin...I was chilling at one of the Gloria Jean's branches in town on Saturday the 20th. Time and again I stole a glance at this cute guy sitting not so far from me and speaking in some foreign language with his mate, and then wouldn't you know it, I accidentally knocked over my glass! LOL. Luckily this didn't happen while I was checking the guy out. My espresso toffee chiller spilt over the table and my wallet, and holly molly guess who came to my rescue...the cute guy. He came my way with tissues in hand and fortunately while he was wiping my table I could manage to utter a few words (normally I become so speechless when I'm amazed). I said, asked him where he was from (The Czech Republic), and...well, that's it. LOL. When I told my gals about this they went, 'Girlie what were you thinking? I can't believe you passed a good chance just like that!' Yes indeed, what was I thinking? But oh well...if he's meant for me I'll see him again. Tonight, also at a coffee shop (Esquires this time), I encountered a guy who was just the total opposite of the guy I met at Gloria Jean's. I was in the loo talking to Sue on the phone about tomorrow's homework when suddenly I heard rude knocks on the door. Since I wasn't peeing anyway I opened the door, and wouldn't you know it, there standing in front of me a homeless man who looked like he hadn't had a shower in ten years and then he friggin' yanked me out of the loo! Well doesn't that make another reason not to give any spare change to the homeless...But come to think of it now I was lucky he just yanked me out, he could've snatched my phone (Sony Ericsson W800i, apparently so hot right now) and wallet. Happy belated 21st and 23rd birthday to Naim and Maggie (January 18th)! Hope ya had good ones :) Off topic, this the kid that everyone on You Tube is talking about...A prodigy, yeah? He's only nine, yet this beautiful piece called True Love isn't his only original composition. This kid will become big in no time, no doubt. And hahahahah he makes me wanna get married and breed my own prodigy...One or two would be good.

Omigod omigod I'm sooo freakin excited! My fave Serbian singer Zeljko Joksimovic has released two English singles (that's as far as I know...there are probably more)! Huzzah! Hahahaha...I always get euphoric when my fave non English speaking singers (by that I mean singers who aren't from English-speaking countries) release English albums or singles. It's like, finally I can sing along to their songs! LOL. Tarkan and Mustafa Sandal have whipped out English albums, so have Utada Hikaru (but I don't really dig Exodus), and Zeljko Joksimovic has released a couple of English singles, when will Boa Kwon and Ayumi Hamasaki follow suit?

tom and that creepy thing
Omigod. I don't care if you will agree with me or not, but I'll still call my 'power' a sixth sense. It worked on Tom twice very recently, on Monday and just minutes ago. So. On Monday. As I was about to cross the road in front of Old Choral Hall at Symonds Street, I had a feeling I would see Tom from the direction of Kate Edger, crossing the road at Alfred Street. Just seconds after I had the thought, I absent mindedly turned my head to the right...and...yes, you guessed it, I saw Tom walking with three other guys, each licking a popsicle. Hahahahaha... Just about half an hour ago. I was sitting at a bench at Albert Park, reading an article off my English 263 coursepack when I had a feeling I would see Tom again moments from now. And all of a sudden...hold your breath (hahaha hyperbole here I come!)...I saw Tom walking in my direction from the path on my left. We said hi, he said he was running to today's Shakespeare rehearsal, and he asked me if I called him. I said no, but it wasn't until he was gone that I realized it could mean three things. First is the literal meaning of course. No I did not, haven't rung him in ages. Secondly, I did receive a call from an unknown number (an Auckland landline number) where the caller hung up as soon as I said hello. Maybe it was him, and he was trying to kid me about it. Thirdly, maybe he felt 'something' call him and thought it was me sending some kind of waves? LOL. Oh well, whatever it is, Tom's presence never fails to make my day!
