my giant shell...

first wound...hope there will be no more
Devastated to find out one of my close friends has backstabbed me. Yeps, one of the guys on the list in one of the entries below. Well, not that devastated anyway because the backstabbing is just to a small extent, but it's still backstabbing all the same.

I wish I had had a chance to thank you for telling me not to worry about my C's, as they were only a practice. I admit I was a bit relieved at that. Juust a bit. But a little bit always goes a long way. Have a pleasant journey to the other side...

more of the sixth sense...still with none of the gory sightings...
Yesterday when I was getting dressed for school, I felt like putting on a black top and black satin ballerina flats. This ran contrary to the bright summer colors, but I just felt like wearing them. If someone asked me why I was wearing black, I'd say I was in mourning. Easy.
And wouldn't you know it, well into the day I discovered my English 220 tutor passed away sometime last week. It was such a shame because I quite like him, and the ladies at the English department reception wouldn't disclose the cause of the passing. They just said the death was 'awfully sudden', and that his family was in Dublin when he was whisked into eternal sleep. The funeral took place today at 12.30 PM at a chapel in Albany.
Oh yeah, when I met my uncle after school, he did ask me why I was dressed my black. He asked me if I was in mourning and I didn't say a word about my former tutor's passing. Hahahaha...
Also, on my way home that day I had a hunch I'd see Catherine, the German girl that lives on level 9, smoking in front of the entrance. Not that I often see her having a smoke there, only about twice. And I've known her since July.
You know where this is leading to, right? When I got to the apartment I saw her having a drag or two.
God doesn't it feel good to make a big deal out of my so-called sixth sense again. It's been ages.

now this is a good way to procrastinate...
Guys check out this girl Laura Shigihara. She's so musically gifted that it's a shame her website hasn't been updated since 2004 and it seems like her music career has come to a halt. Well my exposure of her here won't do justice either but at least it will get here more (albeit just a little) attention that she deserves.
Jess and I had an outing yesterday with her boyfriend Alistair and our mutual friend Leo. It was tons of fun. While lying around at the Myers Park basking in the sunshine, Jess, the psychology graduand, said that the biggest amount of friends the avarage person makes in a lifetime is 150. That makes me want to list the people I'm friends with (that is, those I really talk to and/or hang out with). As follows...

  • Irene

  • Jess

  • Hanum

  • Daryl

  • Jeff

  • Renee

  • Vivian

  • Orchid

  • Caleb

  • Marisa

  • Henny

  • Diana

  • Joey

  • James

  • Aiko

  • Lia
  • ...
Yeah. That's it. Hahahahaha. I'm only 24, I have lots of time to make friends. Who knows, maybe I can gain more than 150 friends? Provided that I keep in touch with those I've already mentioned, that is...

All I want is a man to take care of me.
There. Brutally honest. Ridiculous as it sounds.
    But apparently it's impossible.
More impossible than finding a dragon or a unicorn.

The picture was taken by yours truly in Northhead, Devonport, on April 21 2007 using a Nikon D70 belonging to The University of Auckland's Photography Society. As usual, the layout was coded by me and other images except the ones for fanlistings, cliques, and quizzes were created by me as well using Adobe Photoshop 7.0. Don't steal.
