I learned to let go. I learned not to care. That's part of growing up, part of getting by.
Anyway, I'm leaving to Singapore in a couple of hours. Be back on Thursday the 15th. So happy missin' me!

Ah...you. You're just another hormone-driven teen. You can't cover up that fact with your choice of words and topics. You remind me so much of my 14-year-old self, y'know! Which is an irony because you're 18, but none the more mature. But don't worry, you'll come to a point where you'll look back and laugh. And you needn't wait long. Everytime I read my last year posts, I can hardly believe they're MY OWN writings!
And someone apparently doesn't know how to distinguish "do" and "did" and their negative forms. Want a free lesson?
And someone, a DIFFERENT someone, didn't thank me for going into a lot of trouble to help her, just because I'm not one of her close mates. What harm can a little "thank you" do, eh? Bah. Rot in hell.
Forgive me. I'm no saint. I'm only human, and humans have flaws. And one of my flaws is this. I bitch. Get used to it.
Oh, and on a benevolent note, happy 21st birthday to Wuri and 27th birthday to Pierre! Love you both lots and lots!

During my final exam weeks, I thought of an article of longevity that I read on Time on my way home from campus. And the next day, I had to analyze an article on longevity for the reading exam! It was a different article from a different mag, yet the topic was the same: longevity.
Man...just when I thought my 'sixth sense' of precognitive dreams (I've written about it in one of my July posts) had died, there came a new form of sixth sense: thoughts that come true within the next few days or even hours. Yep, ya heard me right. Lately, everytime I think of something, that something comes true really soon. Here are some that have taken places:
Also during my final exam weeks, on my home from campus, I thought of a Chipmunks movie. More specifically, I thought about the scene where Alvin and the gang dance with snakes. When I got home, I accidentally tuned in to Disney Channel, and there was the movie, right in the snake scene!
I remember thinking about Alanis Morrisette's "So Pure" video in the shower a few days ago. I thought that even though she dances very well in the video, she can't fool anyone that basically she's not a trained dancer. And just yesterday when I unpurposely switched on Channel V, "So Pure" video was there!
I remember thinking I (and maybe her other fans as well) was tired of seeing Boa wearing her hair down in most of her videos and live performances, and imagining how she would look like in braids, after downloading her "Shine We Are" (can anyone please tell Boa that 'shine' is a VERB, not an ADJECTIVE?) and "Rock With You" videos, a few days ago. And yesterday, when I was browsing around a Boa forum, I read that her "My Sweetie" video was now available for download. So I downloaded the video on iMesh, and surprise surprise! Boa wears her hair in plaits throughout the video!
There are actually some more, but I don't feel like inclucing 'em on the list.
Having a sixth sense of any kind can be fun when you don't get a premonition about a gruesome happening (e.g. one's death). Y'know what, Orchid and her bro have the same ability as the kid in "The Sixth Sense." Yep, they can see the dead. But lucky for 'em, unlike most of my other mates with the same ability, the ghost they see never disturb 'em. But still...I guess being able to see spirits is the scariest of all the sixth senses, agree?
