You are Sandra Bullock!

Which Beauty Icon Are You?
brought to you by Quizilla
Hahahah it's been a long time since I last put a quiz result in an entry! Over the past months I always put quiz results on a special page. So what do I get here...Yet another quiz result which suits my personality. True, I don't really take beauty seriously. I only massage my hands and feet daily with strawberry body lotion from The Body Shop. And then apply sunblock cream on my face after washing it with facial foam. And afterwards I apply loose powder. By the way, the loose powder, facial foam, and sunblock cream are from my dermatologist, so they have no label. LOL. And the must-have beauty item in my bag whenever I go out? My lipgloss, also from The Body Shop as I'm a fanatic. I only wear full make-up when I go to a wedding reception. LOL.
On a totally irrelevant topic, Shin Koyamada is UP FOR GRABS!!! Scroll to the very bottom to get the info.... Hee hee I can't be happier!

Saw The Last Samurai yesterday, and my goodness...it was the VERY first time in my 20 years, 8 months, and 9 days that I ever enjoyed such a violent movie. The movie is good, highly recommended. It earned me two things, first be the history lesson that although the Emperor Meiji was SO young (I'd say, no older than 21) when he bacame an emperor, it was good for him to be mad about all the things Western, or in other words to think of introducing his people to modernity. Remember it was 1876 and he was many steps ahead of other Asian royalties his age at that time. Secondly, a new hunk to drool about. SHIN KOYAMADA (WHO PLAYS KATSUMOTO'S SON) IS MAD CUTE!!! And he's older than me as well. He was born on March 10 1982, so he's turning 22 in 1,5 months. As you know, it's important to me that guyz should be older...

Hey. Duh. I've been back in jolly old Jakarta since yesterday, now still up and about at 01:25 in the morning thanks to my undying insomnia. Not much to say, exept this to-do list:

  • Learn div layers

  • Write Steve (actually I've done this, but as soon I as I pressed the 'send' button the connection went off. Fucker).

  • Write Jeff

  • Write Emma (a REAL letter)

  • Oh, and Orchid's off to Bali in around five hours. It's not funny, she'll be on a vacation right after I've just gotten back from one. LOL. But whatever.
Anyway, about the crude posters on my guestbook (entries #192-195), it's none other than my green bro! He was just pissed off coz I got to use the bathroom first. LOL. His bad remark is in Bahasa Indonesia, BTW.

Hey. It's me still blogging from Yiki's room. Alone. Yiki and Kholis and my bro are out watching the opening an NTU sporting event...whatever its real name is. And I'm here blogging, chatting (with Henny at the moment), updating my Friendster profile, checking my e-mails, and watching Talking Cock. It's a Singaporean movie and very hilarious...Man, I love it! This is my third time watching. LOL. Well, not much to say except I'm flying home on the last flight tomorrow. And also, THAT N-GAGE IS A MOTHERFUCKING SON OF A BITCH! Heh. That's all. Pardon my profanity.

Hi there! Blogging from Yiki's room now ah...*Singlish mode on* I was afraid I couldn't get my hands on his computer in his NTU dorm room, like I did the last time I came here, coz I thought my bro (he comes along this time...has succeeded in overcoming his fear or flying!) would use Yiki's comp. But no, he's using Kholis' comp at the moment. Kholis, by the way, is Yiki's roommate. So there.
Last night I went to Borders at Lane Crawford (a.k.a my second home in Singapore, the first being The Meritus Mandarin, at which I always stay whenever I visit Singapore since 1995!) with my aunt, cousin Marsha, mom, and bro. Bought two books: How to Meet Cute Boys by...er...forgot the author's first name but her surname is Kizis, and The True Confessions of Adrian Mole by Sue Townsend. Perhaps some of you regulars have heard about my having a thing for Sue Townsend's Adrian Mole series, yes? LOL. So last night at Borders I found a shelf full of Adrian Mole books. They got me confused: which books have I read and which books have I not? I've read lots of Adrian Mole books, most of which were borrowed from The British Council, when I was still a member. I remembered reading Adrian Mole: The Cappucino Years, The Growing Pains of Adrian Mole, and The Diary of Adrian Mole aged 13 3/4. Then I had a look at The True Confessions of Adrian Mole and...I didn't know (or forgot?) that his full name is Adrian Albert Mole. So, convinced that I haven't read that book because of a fact that I didn't know of Mr. Mole, I bought the book.
Hah. Gotta go. See ya in Jakarta, folks!

I was born Isyana Adriani Arslan in the midnight of May 14, 1983. Over the years, I've let people bastardize my name and call me Nana, even most of the time it's me who asks them to address that way. Growing up with the love for books, writing, and traveling, I'd traveled half of the globe by 13 and read books by Jane Austen, Henry James, Charles Dickens, and Anthony Trollope by 16. Currently, I'm in my early 20's, struggling to graduate from The Faculty of Humanities at The University of Indonesia by August 2004.

This layout uses basic tables, div layers, and graphics made by me using Adobe Photoshop 7.0. In the header image is Korea's equivalent to Britney Spears, 17-year-old Boa Kwon (or Kwon Boa, whichever) and lyrics taken from Secret Garden's single, Gates of Dawn, of their fourth album, Once in A Red Moon, released in early 2002. Also in the same album, there's a song popularized nowadays by Josh Groban, You Raise Me Up. STEAL AND THOU SHALT BURN IN HELL.
