Senang bertemu dengannya lagi setelah sekian lama...

Oh god. My technician didn't show up yesterday and I don't think he'll show up today despite my asking him to come through SMS's. I've also contacted my two other technicians but they have yet to respond. If I still don't get any response by this weekend, I'll go buy the Photoshop 7.0 and Dreamweaver 4.0 CD's.
Anyway, yesterday (the red letter day) was one of the happiest days in my life. The day I won't forget. Not only did I have a lot of fun in Orchid's house and at Bintaro Plaza (although I got whistled at by the blokes at the carwash and on the second floor because of the tube top and sparkly sleeveless tee that I wore), but I also got to MEET PIPI!!! Man...if you've been reading my blog since last year, you sure know that I spent the whole year 2002 longing for him, but I got to meet him again after I got someone else to distract me from missing him. Still, my feelings for him haven't died down completely. Ok, back to the main topic. Actually we didn't plan the meeting. I just asked Orchid if she would mind driving me to Pipi's house from Bintaro Plaza coz I wanted to take a picture of his house to put up on this blog, and she said no so off we cruised to his house. Once we got to his block I thought of calling him, so I dialed his home number. It was him who answered the phone and I told him Orchid and I were in front of his house. He was home alone he invited us in.
Orchid, in a whisper, upon being invited in: Well, only if Indra's home (she's interested in Pi's younger bro, Indra): Only if Indra's home.
Me: He's not, silly. He goes to ITB, remember?
Orchid: Ok, then I'm not coming inside
Me: I'm in. *stepping off Orchid's car*
Orchid: Ok, go. Just don't do anything. No kissing.
Me: Ok, mate. You have my word.
Funny, eh? So I went inside coz Pi said he'd prepared the fish that were supposedly my birthday presents. And there he gave me two pairs of this colorful fish whose English name I don't know plus the instructions on feeding them. This is a whole new experience for me. I've never taken care of any pet before so Pi had better not get his hopes too high. LOL.
During my super brief stay in his house Pi didn't talk much other than asking me if I liked playing The Sims (I said no), telling me that he often went to Tomang (the district where I live) nowadays but didn't tell for what purpose, and commenting on how chubby I'd got. Before I left I hugged him in gratitude and he held my waist in response, that was all. I couldn't tell if there was an old spark within him, even when we looked into each other's eyes the same way we did when we first met before hugging. No kissing, as promised to Orchid. By the way, I DID take a picture of him while I was there...and although he tried blocking my digicam (he LOATHES being photographed), most of his face is still vicible and the pic looks pretty good.
On a totally irrelevant note, my IC class essay about generation gap is nearly finished. I love it when ideas just flow as soon as I start writing an essay!

Ok...so I've downloaded Windows XP. Better late than never eh. And then coz the copywriter's at dad's office, hence the disappearance of several programs, including my dearly beloved Dreamweaver 4.0 and Photoshop 7.0. And alas, I lost their CD's so I must wait until tomorrow or the day after for my technician to lend me his CD's. Hm...that means I have to put off the launching of my new layout. Tired of this one already...
God, this coming week's gonna be a tense one. National holiday on Monday, then two essays for IC and writing classes to catch up on. Blah. The downside of being a literature major is there's no such a thing as running out of ideas...You have to constantly pump up ideas.

When I'd just started out, it really mattered to me that my fellow bloggers linked me. I was such a hit whore (and I guess that's the way it is with newbies). Now it matters no more. I know there are less and less bloggers who link me, but I just couldn't care less. What really matters to me now is pouring my feelings to this nowhere near private diary. And I don't even care if other people post meaningful entries. I no longer figure out something more meaningful to post. I'm not green-eyed anymore.

Y'know what, there's a couple who always parks their car (a sedan...I never pay attention to its brand) EVERY NIGHT before my uncle's house (my uncle and his nuclear family lives next door). They always have a talk in the car everytime I spot them while pulling to the driveway of my house from the campus, then they drive away after my car stops. Perhaps they do more than talking before I get to my block! Hehehehe *cut that dirty thought, Nana!* Anyway, I wonder if the couple go secretive about their relationship, coz if their parents approved of their relationship they wouldn't choose to find DAILY hangout in front of my uncle's house, am I right?
Emma, you're right about female circumcision (eeeek!!! Just the thought of it sends shivers down my spine...). It's NOT stated in the Koran, and I think the female circumcision is an act of men's jealousy because Muslim prepubescent boys have to get the upper skin of their penises shaven off in order to be rid of STD's. Now THAT'S stated in The Koran. Well girl...keep discovering about Islam and The Koran, so that you'll know that The Koran doesn't drive its followers crazy...it's the followers (especially the "in the name of Allah, let's cripple those women and non Muslims" men) who drive themselves crazy with their misinterpretation of the holy book. And about that Tat Marina thingie...rumor had it that she had an affair with the husband of the woman who attacked her. Poor girl indeed. That happened in 1999, if not 2000, coz I first heard about it in mid-2000. Also, attacks toward women by jealous husbands don't only occur in Asia. In 1980, 20-year-old Canadian (she was also born in Vancouver!) Playboy playmate Dorothy Stratten was killed by her possesive husband, Paul Snider, who later committed suicide.
Ich glaube das ist alles, vielen dank!
