Y'know what, I don't quite get it when some hapa people, who declare their hapa pride in public (websites, messenger profiles...), don't have any initiation to join such hapa websites as Hapas and Eurasian Nation. They even turn down invitations to join such websites. I know this because a long time Emma invited my German-Chinese mate to join her Eurasian Community via e-mail but she still hasn't got a reply, and many other cases of the same sort. Why,I wonder? Isn't it fun to meet and share experiences with people of their own kind?
Oh, and still about mixies, I've just learned that three of my cousins (they're brothers, my dad's eldest sister's sons) are 1/8 Thai! They get the Thai blood from their late dad's side of the family, so that makes them Indonesian-Egyptian-Thai. KEWLIES!
Now on to a totally different topic. I think the number of visitors to Shin Koyamada site is decreasing. Since the day it was launched, the site always got more than 50 visitors (sometimes even 100) by noon, but for the past two days (if I'm not mistaken), the number of visitors is down to below 50 at noon time. What the hell is wrong? I definitely should give more updates.

Oh. Hi. Hello world. Hehehehe.
First day of semester 6 (a.k.a final semester of college) was so so. Did I say I passed semester 5 with flying colors again? Details will be in the next entry.
Just wanna say that I'm so FREAKIN' EXCITED AND HAPPY FOR JAMIE! Yep, Jamie my third ex with whom I've been having an open relationship for the past 1+ year. Nothing to worry about. We love each other, and not seeing anyone else. We're just not ready for commitement that's all. And it's HIM who's got it bad for me ok. During Eid Mebarak break and even when he was still dating his last 'official' girlfriend he would drive around my house and call me to ask if I would come out and meet him. And nowadays everytime I tell him I'm home alone he'll drive to my house in a dash. Oh well. Enough about that. So, what am I happy and excited for him about? First, he was chosen as his university's representative at The ASEAN Youth Conference which is going to be held on 19 - 25 February in South Korea! So he's flying to South Korea on the 19th! It's gonna be his first time of being out of Indo! And secondly, he turned out to be THE PRESIDENT of his university's English club! I don't know since when he's been the president, but whatever! Heheheh. Nope, he never broke the news to me. It was me who just happened to find the news, while flipping through the pages of his agenda. I found two letters addressed to "James Aga Wardhana (his full name), The President of The Tarumanegara English Club," opened one of them, and it was about the confirmation that he was chosen for ASEAN Youth Conference.
Aside from my happiness and excitement for him, however, one question troubles my mind. How come he didn't break the news to me? We're close, go out and talk on the phone often. Is it just me or is he really a non-bragging sort of person?

Oh freakin' fuck. I still can't update my Shin site coz the server of the e-mail I used for signing up is down. I still haven't changed my password (blame the procrastinator in me), so it's still in a form of numbers, and I need to log on to my e-mail account to see it. I don't know My Own Email can be such a nuisance. Its server often goes down nowadays.
Still about my Shin site, the site really is the record breaker among all of my sites! Last time I checked, it had got 123 visitors for today alone, and the total amount of visitors since day one is almost 500! Now this is really something, since this blog as my most active site normally gets 20-40 visitors per day! But like a coin, there's always a bad side...Hardly any of my Shin site visitors sign the guestbook. And I hate that.
Anyway, happy belated 18th birthday to Lydia! Keep being the lovable geeky beeyatch that you are, dahling! Wuv ya!
Oh, February already. More birthday wishes. Happy 21st birthday to Mandy and 39th birthday to Brandon Lee...I hope you're doing fine up there!

See? I'm still a quiz queen. Heheh.
God, Dreamweaver MX 2004 really confuses the hell out of me! I studied Dreamweaver last year at E-Store, and I was given a manual too, but even the manual doesn't help me much. Buzz, my teacher, may be a computer expert but when it comes to writing manuals for his students, he definitely needs an editor. Y'know what, I actually considered going back to E-Store for a second Dreamweaver course, but after what happened to me last year, I changed my mind. Believe it or not, Buzz was patient when he taught me Adobe Photoshop 7.0 in mid 2002, but when I came back to study Dreamweaver half a year later, I met a completely new Buzz. He expected me to master the progaramme overnight, accused me of not paying attention when I didn't understand, called me names, and all that jazz...But at least I had a good time shocking people by saying that I'm an English lit. major while studying there. You see, most of the students were (and still are) IT and graphic design majors.
So, given the situation above, is anyone willing to teach me Dreamweaver? Or if any of you readers have friends who are excellent at webdesign, would you mind referring them to me? If you answer yes to all of the above then drop me a line, so we can negotiate the fee and all. And also, my schedule's tight so my only free day is Sunday.
Hey you! Yeah you! I'm so glad you're out of my life! And I mean what I'm saying. There's no wrong in 'sexing' your life a bit! You're legal for god's sake, and knowing a thing or two about sex doesn't hurt at all! In fact it's beneficial! And you don't even have to do anything sexual to get sex knowledge! Honey...given your shallow opinion about sex I won't be surprised if one day you confess to me (or anyone else) that you think kissing can get one pregnant. And your hypocrisy just makes me wanna puke! What can be funnier than someone who acts (or tries to act) all saintly and devout but deep in her heart she looks down on me and tries to steal my crush?

I finally succeeded in concepting the new layout for my Shin Koyamada website, but as I wanted to start coding, I found out the host server's was down. Damn! I hope it will work again by tonight. But apart from that, I'm really happy coz my Shin website's got 200 hits as of this moment, the second day online.
Jean I guess I know the cause of your Boa fansite's short life. The lack of promotion? Y'know what, I helped spreading the word by annoucing it on my blog and passing it on to my Friendster friends. Where else did you promote it other than your blog?
I think I'd better delete that bitchy entry about some of my mates on my other journal. I don't hate 'em. They're my mates, and I can never thank 'em enough for standing up for me when the world turns its back on me. It's just their bad habits that I can't stand. It's not that I'm afraid they'll find out, but it's purely from my conscience.
You see, I seriously think I'm in need of a boyfriend. Someone I truly love, someone to distract me from crushing on blokes I really have no chance on. Or in other words, from returning to my 14-year-old self again. Oh well. If only you had the slightest idea of what I was like when I was 14.

This conversation occured just today on MSN...
Mijung, after checking out my Shin Koyamada website: Y'know what, Shin Koyamada really looks like a mate of mine. He's not Japanese, but Singaporean.
Me, thinking that if I couldn't get the real Shin, the look-alike would be fine: Really? Hook me up!
Mijung: He's gay.
AAAAAAWWWWW....
Today Orchid and I had a big girls' day out! We had lunch at Scoops, a cafe that Alex introduced to me during my semester 4 break and has become my fave. We were the only costumers that noon, and we talked a lot and made noises...And we even scribbled our names (y'know...the "Nana/Orchid was here" kinda thing) and our URL's (of course I included my Shin shrine's) on the tablecloth that was made of paper with a glass of crayons that were put on the center of each table.
There are a lot of new diseases out there...Avian influenza virus (or better known as the bird fever virus), mad cow virus...Last year it was SARS, now these scares. Looks like since last year, we always get a new year present in the form of diseases. And speaking about the bird fever virus, Orchid and I had an Italian dish consisting of chicked breasts with mozarella cheese and salad at Scoops. EEEKKKK!

I was born Isyana Adriani Arslan in the midnight of May 14, 1983. Over the years, I've let people bastardize my name and call me Nana, even most of the time it's me who asks them to address that way. Growing up with the love for books, writing, and traveling, I'd traveled half of the globe by 13 and read books by Jane Austen, Henry James, Charles Dickens, and Anthony Trollope by 16. Currently, I'm in my early 20's, struggling to graduate from The Faculty of Humanities at The University of Indonesia by August 2004.

This layout uses basic tables, div layers, and graphics made by me using Adobe Photoshop 7.0. In the header image is Korea's equivalent to Britney Spears, 17-year-old Boa Kwon (or Kwon Boa, whichever) and lyrics taken from Secret Garden's single, Gates of Dawn, of their fourth album, Once in A Red Moon, released in early 2002. Also in the same album, there's a song popularized nowadays by Josh Groban, You Raise Me Up. STEAL AND THOU SHALT BURN IN HELL.
