Here I am blogging in my own cubicle at the office right now. I'm going home in five minutes, and God...does my back ache like crazy! I'm done translating the synopsis of Gensomaden Saiyuki (Anne's fave anime) and an NBC sitcom, Working (the title's self explanatory). Then at 06:30 PM is Keke's farewell party in her house in Depok. She's flying to Australia this Sunday for college. Busy, busy...
Last night I went to PS and I met a mate of mine who was hanging out with two Eurasian siblings (not to mention Nunique's Australian ex boyfriend at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf but that's another story). Soon I chatted with my mate and her two Eurasian mates in English, and believe it or not I made the most stupid grammatical error! How embarassing! I don't think I'll be able to forget it for a while...

Hey! This is my first entry outside my home! Guess where I'm typing this? The computer in Mas George's cubicle, which is right in front of mine! Tee hee! I'm sick of Face to Face's scripts I'm supposed to continue translating at the moment, so here I am taking a break! Anyway...
HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY, DAD!!! Now you're old enough to be sent to a retirement home! Hehehe j/k :P I'll NEVER do that and you don't plan on retiring until I get my master's degree, do ya dad?
HAPPY 39TH BIRTHDAY AUNT YANTI! You're the greatest single mom I know!
HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY WIRA! I miss ya like mad, you little one! Haven't seen you in ages!

Ok...Day one at the office was fine, I guess...I was asked to type lots of memos and put rejection letters in envelopes before I was given my REAL task just before I left. So yea, guess what I'm translating? Three animes (The Kickers, Gensomaden Saiyuki, and Captain Kuppa), one Asian drama (starring Ekin first ex Harry is a big Ekin Cheng fan), and a telenovela. Now don't be confused with my poor knowledge about Spanish and Mandarin, and the fact that I don't speak any Japanese since I was given their ENGLISH scripts!!! Well I took 'em home, and so far only The Kickers' script that I've translated into Indonesian...
Come to think of my task, you see I was asked to translate the kind of programs that I've never been interested in watching. Is this some sort of punishment?
Ok must doze off now. See ya.

The Way You Are

brought to you by Quizilla

Look Angela, the creator of this quiz copied you! LOL. She used beautiful Ayu graphics as the results too!
Tomorrow is the day one of apprenticeship at TPI, acquisition division! I'll be working for a whole month, from 09:00 AM to 04:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Except on Friday, my everyday clothing isn't permitted. Fortunately, however, I've shopped for workwear at Accent (they have the best workwear collection ever!) with mom just last week, so I'm all ready!
Blimey. Boomspeed disabled four of my five accounts. So since I have only one account, I deleted all my fanlisting buttons and uploaded the smallest of buttons of the cliques I'm in. Bloody Boomspeed...
Happy 20th birthday, Marit Larsen! I've been anticipating your new album with M2M!

My back's aching and my eyes are barely open, but my thoughts are itching to be typed. VH1's Something For The Weekend on MTV played videos of the hits of year 2000, which really reminded me of my clubbing days. Happy, careless, irresponsible days...I had no idea what love was like, and Pipi was exactly the male version of Orchid. God I miss those days.
I also miss this particular person, Kathy. She was my rival. Y'know...we both pretended to be mates on the outside, whereas on the inside we fought each other to get Pi's attention. Hahaha. Ridiculous, I know, but we were 16 and 17 at that time. To date I still haven't a clue why Pi ended up with me instead of her. I mean, Kat and Pi have lots in common. They're both Chinese, they're both Catholics, they both excel in Math, and Pi was extremely keen on her. If not giving me advices, he talked about Kat. Oh well...even after Pi and I started dating we still talked, although it was crystal clear that deep in her heart she didn't want to. We haven't talked again since December 2001.
I remember exactly how he "proposed" to me through SMS's. I remember the harsh words of Kat's SMS's the next day, and also on January 3, 2001. And then the cool chat we had after I got a new cellphone number the day after. God, I remember 'em as clear as day...It's not easy having a photographic memory. You remember all your yesterdays so clear as though it just happened today. This is what haunts me, other than what I what I see in my dreams. Ne, this is what I desperately want to talk you about!

My name's Nana, and I'm a 20-year-old college junior itching to get out of the country I've lived in all my life, Indonesia. The eldest offspring of an Indonesian, Dutch, and Egyptian parentage, I'm anything but exotic. What sets me apart from the crowd is that I have this outlandish ability to see beyond the norm (don't think The Eye), a sort of photographic memory, and have been idolizing Jackie O (as opposed to popstars and supermodels) since the tender age of 11. I'm into Eurasian blokes, but that doesn't mean my boyfriend strictly has to be Eurasian. Email me if you'd like to know more.
