___Pouring On This Side____

jai jai jai...
Note to self: Always keep in mind that:

  • What doesn't kill me only makes me stronger

  • Jealousy is always associated with weakness

  • Devil lurks anywhere, including the ones I love dearest.

  • This is the last day of IELTS training and I'm having my IELTS test on Saturday the fifth. Honestly I'm a little worried about the writing part, although so far in the training I've always got the least comment and corrections. Adrian really has to assure me that I'll be graded mainly on my grammar, not my opinion. LOL. Yesterday in the class we were asked to write an essay on whether rich countries should help the poor ones, and it wasn't until five minutes before the essay was to be handed in that I realized I'd slightly misundrestood the question. Oh well.
I love writing. Did I ever tell ya that?
Congratulations Regina on the arrival of your new niece! Another R in the family, eh? LOL.
    Oh, and happy March everyone!

Since I have nothing better to do
Stolen from Henny, who could've stolen it from someone else.

Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What do you touch first?
The middle masts of my four-storey computer table.

What is the last thing you watched on TV?
Some annoyingly happy-go-lucky "Animaxu miusix" clip on Animax.

    What are you wearing?
White tee with pink stripes, white cotton trousers.

What is on the walls of the room you are in?
    Just the AC

What is the last film you saw?
Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason. A little trivia, the Aussie model who plays Rebecca Gillies really can pass for a 22-year-old, despite the fact that she's already in her early 30s.

If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first?
Definitely a mansion in an English country! My dream since age 15.

If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?
That America shouldn't have all the power.

    Do you like to dance?
It depends. If there's no one around then the answer is oui.

George Bush: is he a power-crazy nutcase or some one who is finally doing something that has needed to be done for years?
I'll go for the first one, but rumor has it that he's the only US president to appreciate servicemen.

Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her?
I've already prepared names for my boys and girls, and they're so unique and beautiful (sound-wise and meaning-wise) that I can't let other people steal them.

Imagine your first child is a boy, what do you call him?
Um, same answer as the girl question.

Would you ever consider living abroad?
Oh yes! Am going to starting in June! Yee pee!

What do you think of this quiz?
Just another survey meant as a time killer

Will you pass on this survey?
Essays and exercises are one thing, surveys are quite another.

    keep on tracking me...
Here I am having my daily dose of nocturne. My back is aching, my eyes are droopy, my body is tired, yet my mind is still working. I guess I'm gonna stay like this for the rest of my life.
Just got back from Orchid's bash. It was a lot of fun, and pictures are here as usual. No Avin, Yusuf and I are merely mates. LOL.
While Marcel was test-driving my Nissan X-trail during the party (he said it was his dream car. LOL) I got an inspiration for a topic to blog about. But I've forgotten all about it now, given my condition.

Claim your right to see the truth...
So. LJ scrollbar problem is solved and now I can call myself an HTML linguist! LOL. I mean, I solved the problem without the help of anyone or any help site! I just fugured out which tag to be erased, where to put the entry-shifting tag, etc...
Orchid's holding her 21st birthday bash tonigh at her home, and Freddy's invited. The silly thing was Freddy actually did ask Marcel whether I'd come or not. Stupid dude. Of course I'm coming! It's my best bud's party and I'm even gonna come earlier to help a bit! Then last night when I was having dinner at a Korean restaurant at Plaza Ex, Marcel told me Freddy wasn't gonna make it to the party and just today Orchid said he just didn't wanna see me, but I'd say he's just plain scared of me. I mean, just read between the lines. He asked Marcel whether I'd come or not then decided not to come. So obvious. Actually, he needn't be afraid because I don't bite. Gweeze...I didn't even talk to him the last time we met at D'Place, Cilandak Town Square. But whatever. Remind me to keep bitching about him so eventually I'll fall out of love with such a coward.
If you ever notice, the page names of my entries are often taken from song lyrics...like this one.

How did it end up like this?
Hey people! Miss me? LOL. I've been sooo busy revamping my my LJ. I REALLY am stumped by the global head codes! Now I've successfully put up a header, but the scrollbar colors are gone! HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP...
Anyway, that I'm a night owl, perhaps everybody knows. But ever wonder why I stay up to as late as 03.00 AM? My memories. They're as vivid as daylight, and most of them are full of regret. Ask me what I was doing 10 years ago and I'll answer it as if it had happened just yesterday. Times like these, I don't count my strong memories as a blessing.
